Susan M. Baker, DSc, is a clinical physical therapist, health educator and professor. Her physical therapy expertise is in pediatrics, geriatrics, stroke rehabilitation, and joint replacement. She has 20+ years of teaching in public health, physical therapy, and allied health at Loma Linda University, Oakwood University, and University of Maryland, School of Medicine. At the Adventist University of Africa, she is the Director of Research and Faculty Development and an associate professor in Public Health. Her research interests include physical rehabilitation and the scholarship of teaching and learning (SOTL). She is married and has three adult sons.
